Key features
A few of the ways we’re aiming to create a toaster that lasts a lifetime.

Repair at home
The modular design aims to make it simple for you to repair your toaster at home, without specialist tools. Idea is that if a part breaks, we post you a spare, and you keep on toasting.
What we're working on
- No tool repair - all parts replaceable by hand
- Safety-conscious design
- Rapid delivery of spare parts

Swapable exterior
To last a lifetime, your toaster needs to fit the design of your kitchen, now and also in the future. So our side panels and controls will be replaceable, to let you update its look in the future - and get the look you want today.
What we're working on
- Easy to swap side panels
- Interchangeable knobs & dials
- A range of colours & materials

Easy to clean
We’ve found everything from seeds to old cheese inside toasters we’ve inspected (no judgement). So ours will be wipe-clean, and the messiest parts removable and dishwasher-safe.
What we're working on
- Durable, easy clean materials
- Dishwasher-safe top plate & crumb tray

Toasts most slices
The dimensions of most toasters haven’t changed since all anyone ate was sliced white. Each of our slots is long enough to take everything from a whole slice of sourdough (no need to flip halfway) to two slices of the old fashioned stuff.
What we're working on
- Toasts 2 x sourdough or 4 x regular slices
- Slots wide enough for bagels
